How Often is Too Often to Contact Your Client Base?

Having established my Real Estate business over 16 years, I realize every year when I do my business plan that the first 5 years of business was building a reputation as a great agent and the next 10+ years my business has come from Past Clients and Referrals from my Sphere of Influence.

So how often is too often to contact your sphere?

In my experience there is no “TOO OFTEN!”

What Realtors forget is that people have busy lives.  They are NOT thinking about what Yvonne Arnold is doing everyday.  That doesn’t mean they don’t like me or that they don’t want to work with me.  It means I am not the center of their universe!

But because I am actively working, educating and learning about my Real Estate market, I have vital information for people in any situation.  Wether they are Buying, Selling, Investing, In Foreclosure, moving out of State….Whatever…I have information they need to know.

And it is my JOB to get it to them!

The following article from RIS Media is a good example.  If  a consumer can answer these questions about their Realtor

  1. Does my Realtor update me often about the housing market?
  2. Does my Realtor give me useful, valid information?
  3. Does my Realtor refer customers to me in my line of work?
  4. Does my Realtor offer positive solutions to my problems?
  5. Is my Realtor excited and passionate about their business?
  6. Is my Realtor a standout businessperson?

Then that Realtor is going to be successful in any market.
