Bonner County

Bonner County in the Northern most territory of the State of Idaho is approximately 60 miles South of the Canadian Border.

There are approximately 50 Lakes in Bonner County alone.  It is definitely heaven for the Outdoor lover.
Two major bodies of water:

  • Lake Pend Oreille:  2nd largest lake west of the Mississippi at approximately 75 miles long and with depths of up to 1,150 feet in some areas makes it the 5th deepest in the United States.  It is fed by the Clark Fork River and the Pack River and drains via the Pend Oreille River.

 

  • Priest Lake: Extends North to and comes within 15 miles of the Canadian border.  Its history dates back 10,000 years to the ice age.  It has a unique feature of a thouroughfare that connects Priest Lake with Upper Priest Lake.
